At Certificación Telecom, operated by MB Services Ltda., we have been supporting manufacturers, importers, and retailers in complying with telecommunications regulations in Chile for over 21 years.
We were founded with a simple purpose: to ensure that no company—whether a multinational importing thousands of units or an entrepreneur selling on a marketplace—has to face the regulatory complexities of SUBTEL alone. We understand that technical standards, laboratory reports, and procedures with the regulator can become an obstacle to selling legally in Chile, and that’s why we’ve transformed this process into something simple, fast, and straightforward.
Today, with the implementation of SUBTEL Resolution 737, we have managed the compliance of more than 1,500 devices and have a catalog of over 3,850 products from 158 brands—including Samsung, HP, Sony, Apple, and Lenovo—that are already operating compliantly in the Chilean market.
We also act as legal representatives in Chile for foreign manufacturers, a mandatory requirement without exceptions, confirmed by SUBTEL itself. This allows companies without a physical presence in the country to market their equipment securely.
Our commitment is twofold: first, to guarantee our clients’ regulatory compliance; and second, to protect Chilean consumers by ensuring that equipment using radio spectrum—WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID, and other short-range technologies—meets the technical and safety standards required by law.
